Job Description:

A Production Assistant plays a crucial role in our Production Department, working under the guidance of the Area Supervisor/Production Operator. The primary objective of this position is to provide direct support to the Production Operator, ensuring the continuous and efficient flow of product through the manufacturing process while consistently maintaining high quality standards and a safe, clean working environment

Responsibilities:

• Move materials, including work-in-process and finished product, into and out of the area by moving carts or pallets.
• Quality check product before moving to the next step of operation
• Collect product samples and transport them promptly to the quality check room for inspection.
• Assist the Operator in the inspection of molded/trimmed work to ensure quality product is being produced.
• Assist in maintaining all required documentation and paperwork to ensure product traceability.
• Conform with and abide by all corporate and site-specific regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions, and all safety rules.
• Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual, and predictable attendance.

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or GED Required

Experience: 6 months

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required., Ability to communicate orally and written., Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Physical:

• Must regularly lift or carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Required to walk/stand 100% of the time during the shift.
• Required to frequently bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift.
• Constant pushing and pulling of materials throughout the shift.
• May be exposed to environmental heat and dust and noise.
