What You'll Do
As a Production Helper, you will support laser operations and ensure parts are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Laser Support: Assist operators with setups and operations on Mazak and Mitsubishi CO2 Lasers.
- Part Finishing: De-nest laser-cut parts, remove laser oxide, and use grinders or sanders to improve part quality.
- Inventory & Logistics: Properly receive and store steel and safely operate a forklift to move materials as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Perform assigned work to meet time standards and quality expectations while reporting any material or production issues.
- Operational Safety: Ensure compliance with all corporate and plant safety standards while maintaining a clean department.
- Teamwork: Cross-train across the laser department and assist other operators on key machines as required.
What You'll Need
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Technical Skills: Strong background in metal grinding and basic fabrication, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
