The Production Helper is an essential member of our manufacturing team, responsible for supporting various stages of the production process. This role focuses on the handling, preparation, and finishing of heavy-duty industrial components, specifically drill pipes and related equipment. You will work alongside experienced machine operators to ensure that production flow is maintained, quality standards are met, and the facility remains a safe environment for all employees.

Responsibilities:
Apply stencils, paint, and identification stamps to finished products in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Manually load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and transport racks. Utilize hoists or cranes to move heavy materials safely.
Assist machine operators with the setup and operation of heat treat lines, assembly machinery, and other production equipment.
Visually examine products to verify they meet strict quality specifications; remove or report any defective parts.
Perform basic routine maintenance on tools and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent safety hazards.
Cut test samples from production runs according to shop orders and prepare them for delivery to the metallurgical lab.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and reporting any potential malfunctions or unsafe conditions.
Working hours: 4:30 PM - 4:30 AM
Skills:
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, construction, or oil and gas industrial setting.
High School Diploma or GED.
Basic proficiency with computers for data entry and checking production orders.
Ability to multi-task and respond quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
Ability to stand for long periods (up to 12 hours) and perform repetitive lifting of heavy materials in a non-climate-controlled environment.
A strong commitment to following safety guidelines and maintaining an incident-free workplace.

Consistent attendance and punctuality are critical for maintaining production schedules.
Ability to read simple instructions, write short reports, and perform basic calculations for measurements and counts.
