Job Description:
The Production Operator position involves executing kiln and post-kiln manufacturing tasks under a compressed workweek schedule. This role focuses heavily on the inspection, setup, and processing of ceramic and metal components.
Responsibilities:
- Examine manufacturing components for micro-defects using microscopes.
- Escalate flagged product issues directly to area leads or supervisors.
- Review and carefully follow daily engineering and work specification
- Prepare standard daily work areas and manage tools.
- Track and log work order movement and outputs into the production software.
- Handle pre-kiln and post-kiln staging and material handling.
- Keep work areas clean and compliant with corporate safety protocols'
Education: High School
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
Experience: 12 months
- Minimum of 1 year in manufacturing or production environments.
- Comfortable working around ceramics, solvents, dust, and raw metals
