This position is responsible for the overall supervision and productivity of manufacturing extrusions. Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Ensures effective employee relations, provides coaching and development, and completes performance reviews in a timely fashion.
Personnel Management: Makes employment decisions, manages disciplinary actions, and handles time and attendance records/time off requests following HR protocols.
Production Oversight: Assists with achieving daily production requirements, manages labor to maximize machine utilization, and accurately reports results.
Quality & Safety: Actively supports facility safety systems and utilizes the Quality Management system to address production or quality issues.
Operational Support: Assists with troubleshooting machinery and equipment and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
Recruitment & Training: Participates in the hiring process and executes training plans to mentor and grow team members.
Working hours: 5:45 AM - 6:00 PM
Skills:
Advanced Education: Bachelor???s degree.
Industry Expertise: Experience in plastics manufacturing.
Methodologies: Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
Systems: Experience specifically with IQMS (ERP system).

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 5-7 years of manufacturing supervisory and leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead teams.
Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documents.
Mathematical Proficiency: Competency in arithmetic, algebra, and metrology, including the use of rulers, tape measures, and calipers.
Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for interacting across all levels of the organization.
Software Knowledge: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the ability to work within an ERP system.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds, along with manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
