Responsibilities:
As a Production Technician, you will blend mechanical assembly with electrical wiring to create high-quality panelboards and switchboards. Your day-to-day will include:
Precision Assembly: Wire, fit, and mount sub-assemblies and components according to customer specifications and manufacturing schematics.
Electrical Craftsmanship: Use tools like wire strippers and pliers to execute complex wiring for power flow.
Quality & Testing: Perform mechanical and electrical integrity checks using power checking equipment to ensure total conformance with safety codes.
Inventory & Logistics: Manage materials?from receiving and putting away stock to preparing finished products for shipment.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in Lean Initiatives and maintain a top-tier work environment through 5S guidelines.
Team Collaboration: Communicate progress and part shortages effectively while cross-training across functions to support business needs.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year in an assembly-related role using hand or power tools. (We value diverse backgrounds: experience in automotive repair, construction, carpentry, or similar environments is highly encouraged!)
Geography: Must reside within 50 miles of the work location. (Note: Active-Duty Military Service members are exempt from this limitation).
Legal: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Eaton will not support CPT, OPT, H-1B, or similar visa statuses for this position.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Experience with CNC bus fabrication or press brake operation.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
Proficiency with measuring tools, torque tolerances, and heavy equipment (fork trucks, jib cranes, drill presses).
