- Product Processing (Raw & Ready-to-Eat):
- In the Raw area, you'll add ingredients to batches, verifying against formulations, and moving/loading raw meat into mixers and combos using appropriate tools.
- In the Ready-to-Eat area, you will count, package, and handle finished products, placing them in trays or assembly lines for shipment.
- Packaging & Logistics: Build and prepare pallets by stacking boxes, wrapping them with cardboard and shrink wrap, and moving them with a manual pallet jack.
- Quality & Standards: Ensure all product is correctly labeled and identified and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) protocol.
- Maintenance & Cleanliness: Wash and sanitize carts, racks, and trucks. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area at all times, adhering strictly to GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and OSHA standards.
- Equipment Operation: May involve working with equipment such as taping machines, shrink wrap machines, and trash compactors.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent attendance and dependability.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform with varying degrees of temperatures and noise levels.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Must be able to perform repetitive functions and work with minimal supervision.
- Experience in a production role is a plus!
