project manager - warehousing & logistics.

In this role, you will act as the vital link between the warehouse operations team and external customers. You will manage the lifecycle of logistics projects, from initial client onboarding to the continuous improvement of high-volume distribution workflows.

Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Manage the implementation of new client accounts, ensuring warehouse space, staffing, and systems are ready for "go-live" dates.
- 3PL Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party partners, providing regular updates on inventory accuracy, shipping timelines, and project status.
- Workflow Optimization: Analyze warehouse data to identify inefficiencies and implement strategies to improve throughput and reduce operational costs.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with warehouse floor leadership to align daily operations with specific client contractual requirements (SLAs).
- Systems Management: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track project progress and generate performance reports for stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure all project activities remain compliant with facility safety standards and industry regulations.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Skills:
- Advanced Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM certification is a significant plus.
- Continuous Improvement: Experience with Lean Six Sigma or 5S methodologies to drive warehouse efficiency.
- Safety Training: OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification.

1-4 years

Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a Project Management or Supervisory role specifically within a 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) or large-scale warehouse environment.
- Operational Knowledge: Deep understanding of shipping/receiving workflows, inventory management, and labor allocation.
- Technical Literacy: High proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel for data tracking).
- Communication: Strong professional presence with the ability to lead client meetings and manage expectations between the client and the warehouse floor.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot logistics bottlenecks and implement immediate corrective actions
