Role Highlights
- Compensation: $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
- Shift/schedule: 5:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Thursday (Enjoy a consistent 4-day work week!)

What You'll Do
- Fabricate custom prototypes and standard product samples using both CNC and manual machinery.
- Review incoming project requests to determine the necessary tools, machinery, and material requirements.
- Design and construct custom weld fixtures required for prototype production runs.
- Partner with the Engineering team to manage project timelines, keep track of shifting priorities, and establish estimated completion dates.
- Inspect finished prototypes against engineering drawings to guarantee they meet all design requirements.
- Serve as a critical feedback loop for Engineering by identifying drawing errors or suggesting design improvements through marked-up prints.
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required (technical trade school training or a formal apprenticeship is a big plus).
- 3-5 years of hands-on fabrication, machining, or model-making experience.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D manufacturing layouts (Solidworks/CAD familiarity is highly preferred).
- A strong mechanical background backed by practical math skills, including Geometry and Trigonometry.
- Excellent close vision and dexterity required to read precision instruments like micrometers and blueprints.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with frequent last-minute changes.
