Job Description:
As a Punch Press Machine Operator you would be producing high quality parts with a punch press machine.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a punch press machine in manual or automatic mode
- Produce parts to meet quality standards
- Learn the operating sequence of the machine to make sure it is working properly
- Set up jobs on the machine
- Load, unload, program, and make adjustments on the machine
- Perform quality checks on finished products
- Perform preventative maintenance on the machine
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 12 months
- 1+ year of experience operating a hydraulic press (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience using measurement devices
- 1+ year of experience reading and interpreting blueprints
Physical:
- Moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Standing / Walking
