Job Description:
As a Punch Press Operator you would be responsible for producing high quality parts.
Responsibilities:
- Producing parts to meet quality and safety standards
- Operation of a punch press machine in manual or automatic mode
- Learning the operating sequence of the machine to ensure it is running properly
- Setting up jobs to include loading/unloading, programming, and adjustments
- Quality checking finished products
- Performing preventative maintenance on machinery
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 12 months
- 1+ year of experience using measurement devices
- 1+ year of experience reading and interpreting blueprints
- 1+ year of experience operating a hydraulic press (preferred)
Physical:
- Must be able to stand for a full shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Skills:
