Review purchase requisitions and forecasted needs.
Assist in sourcing new and existing products to replenish inventory with optimal goods and favorable terms.
Negotiate pricing, lead time, freight, and payment terms with vendors.
Issue purchase orders and manage the entire order lifecycle: confirmation, tracking, follow-up, and expedited deliveries.
Verify receipt of goods, reconcile invoices, handle discrepancies, and maintain accurate purchasing records.
Collaborate with sales, operations, quality, and accounting to ensure materials meet specifications, compliance, and delivery timelines.
Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize stock levels, and minimize overstock and stock-out.
Keep purchasing policies up to date, ensure adherence to company standards, and assist with periodic audits.
Occasional travel will be necessary for vendor or customer visits.

Skills:
Experience in the recreational vehicle industry is preferred.
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, procurement, or related fields; and/or 5+ years procurement or purchasing experience.
Knowledge of supply chain best practices, JIT (Just-in-Time) inventory, and vendor scorecards.
Proficiency in ERP/inventory or procurement software and competent Excel skills.
Detail oriented with a mechanical mindset.
Solid negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to build supplier relationships.
High attention to detail with strong follow-through, documentation accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
