This client is looking for a detail-oriented Lab Manufacturing Specialist to execute the production and large-scale manufacturing procedures in a pharmaceutical and biotechnology production environment in order to manufacture products that meet regulatory requirements. If you are detail-oriented and have some mechanical aptitude keep reading!Responsibilities:- Operation of large-scale fermentation equipment and associated process equipment.- Lab-scale and pilot-scale fermentation activities as well as troubleshooting for equipment and process failures.- Express a variety of enzymes, using independent judgment, when necessary, to successfully complete production runs.- Collaborate as part of a scientific team including active participation in team meetings and initiatives.- Perform inventory control of reagents, chemicals, and supplies using proper labeling and computerized systems.- Maintain general lab organization including supplies, equipment, and reagents.- Establish or revise operating equipment specifications and improve manufacturing techniques- Additional duties as assigned by management.Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PMSkills:- Attention to detail.- Effective communication, and ability to work in a team environment.- Detail oriented documentation skills.- Judgment to know when it is necessary to consult with supervisor.Education:AssociateExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:- Associates degree required.- 0-2 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.
