      Are you an experienced forklift driver seeking your next opportunity? Spherion currently has material handler positions open in Detroit Lakes, MN.Responsibilities:- Stage coils in correct areas once tagged- Pulled Partial (pup) coils from coil storage racks first, once consumed, new coils are pulled for production.- Must be able to effectively retrieve coils with forklift using supplied coil inventory sheet. Coils are pulled using FIFO (First In, First Out)- Must be able to unwrap, upend, and load on un-coiler mandrels.- After loading coils, leading end of coil must be manually fed into entry guides of roll-former. Coil strip is then "jogged" by hand control through machine until lead end has exited the shear blade.- Removed used coils from un-coiler and returned to coil racks as pup coils. Coil tags must be affixed back to the partial coil. Return pup coil to correctly labeled area on coil rack- It is a responsibility of this position to perform all material handling functions safely and to protect the raw material product in any handling procedure.- Must dispose of coil cores in appropriate dumpsters.- When stacking coils for storage, will stack coils centered over bottom coils, NOT centering the pallet. - Maintain 5S in the un-coiler and up-ender area.
