Primary responsibilities include things such as: perform routine quality checks, tests and inspections during and/or at end of production process, move/load paper in and out of press, jogging and boxing orders, move product, assist with plating, wash-ups, keep supplies available, etc. Can be the 3rd person in a sheet fed crew, however in some shops may not be assigned to a specific press, but floats within the department.
