      Assembly and material handling job duties for electrical supply chain company located in Southeast Reno.Temp to hire opportunity.Can be converted to an equipment operator once on client's payroll.Responsibilities:Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to customers or other divisions.Loads/Unloads common carrier and company vehicles.Assembles customer orders to be shipped via UPS/LTLProcesses paperwork regarding shipments including: verifying that the merchandise to be shipped is correct, applying the correct postage tape, filling out proper BOL information for LTL shipments, following customer shipping instructions and insuring the shipment when necessary.Gathers assembled orders that are in carts and verifies their quantities and descriptions. Hand selects orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer, operates assigned RF unit to create labels, correctly places labels on product, stacks product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (e.g., no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.), stages pallets for loading on proper dock locations, stretch-wraps product on loading dock, maintains and safely operates all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, RF unit, and personal protective equipment, and performs pre and post-trip inspections of equipment.Responsibilities:This position requires working until all products are accurately selected and loaded including potential overtime on holidays and weekends. Essential skills include the ability to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels established through an engineered production standard, working rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift in a fast paced environment, meeting or exceeding established cases per error goals, and developing a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures.
