      Calibration Technician -12 month contract positionResponsibilities:o Test, calibrate or coordinate measuring instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards or calibration instructions. Equipment will vary based on the business operations. Assist document controller to maintain and distribute controlled copies of latest approved document.o Maintain the calibration system and assists in other calibration activities.o Establish and maintain procedures to complete in-house calibrationso Maintain calibration database and records including generating monthly reports where necessary.o Coordinate outside services to complete calibration activities.o Maintain records to ensure compliance to GMP/ISO requirements and support internal/external audit of the calibration department.o Interface with other departments concerning measuring and inspection guidance when required.o Responsible for tracking all calibrations electronically.o Maintain the instrument and equipment calibration files.o Work with outside vendors to schedule and perform external calibrations.o May write calibration procedures for new plant instruments and equipment.o Revise existing calibration procedures as needed.o Plan sequence of testing and calibration procedures for instruments and equipment.o Maintain accurate and up-to-date calibration records. Enter new equipment information into the master schedule to ensure files are created and routine calibration work orders are created prior to the expiration of calibration.
