The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for performing all routing QA testing for finished products, logging data into DEACOM, and performing sensory evaluation for all flavors. The technician is also responsible for keeping inventory of all lab supplies, collecting micro samples and requested samples for the lab, and scanning all organic batch tickets in specific files.

Responsibilities:
Ability to learn new QA testing methods.
Perform all routine QA testing for all finished products and logging the data into DEACOM.
Perform sensory evaluation for all flavors produced and confirm with QA staff when flavors deter from specification.
Collect all micro samples and requested samples for the QA lab, scanning all organic batch tickets into specific files.
Inventory lab supplies, pulling control samples for following business day.
Completing tasks for other technicians as needed.
Send pre-shipped samples to customers as requested.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
Proficient Understanding of Food Science and Safety: A solid foundation in food science principles, food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP), and quality control.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with analytical testing methods, raw material identification, and the ability to interpret technical data.
Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in Quality Assurance. Experience with sensory skills, micro plating, calibration equipment and understanding of brix, pH, and water-activity meters.
Familiar with manufacturing GMPs and food safety.
