Drive Operational Excellence and Lead Quality on the Manufacturing Floor! The Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager is a hands-on floor leader responsible for managing the QC team, overseeing laboratory testing, and driving organization-wide ISO 9001 certification. Responsibilities:
-Supervise, train, and enforce safety/documentation standards.
-Oversee lab testing; perform hands-on testing during peak periods.
-Maintain laboratory equipment calibration records.
-Authority over final product disposition, process holds, and risk escalation.
-Manage Nonconformance Reports (NCRs), lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA/5 Whys), and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
-Enforce quality checkpoints across receiving, production, packaging, warehousing, and shipping.
-Conduct floor observations to track quality trends and eliminate systemic risks.
-Audit external vendors and manage approved supplier program via quality scorecards.
-Investigate complaints and update processes based on client feedback.
-Lead implementation, training, and ongoing maintenance for site certification.
-Oversee SOPs, manage internal audits, and support preventative maintenance scheduling.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 AM
Skills:
-Comfort spending time in plant environments for observation and problem-solving
-Demonstrated people leadership, including mentoring, training, and accountability for quality outcomes
-Strong working knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and quality documentation systems
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
-Proficiency in GMP, SOPs, and NCR/RCA processes.
-Experience with wet chemistry or laboratory testing preferred (willingness to learn required).
-Proven track record mentoring teams and leading cross-functional quality initiatives.
