Job Description:
This position is responsible to thoroughly inspect all of the coated product prior to unloading in accordance with the
specifications of the client and the customer. There is a high level of counting and administrative paperwork
involved in this position. This position will focus on all things related to quality, while functioning within the values and mission of the client.
Responsibilities:
- Operating machinery (Ovens, Line Speed)
- Inspect all product using our 6 step Quality Inspection Sheet which may include: Finger check, cross-hatch, MEK rub, contact, millage and visual checks.
- Reject any product that fails the quality standards: Notify proper personnel of re-coats or reject to ensure timely rework.
- Complete all paperwork/ computer work in a timely manner: Discuss any large count discrepancies with manager
- Work closely with Spray Room and Line Team Leaders to ensure quality standards are met and sustained throughout the entire coating process.
- Report any job corrections to PM supervisor
- Responsible to see that all product is tagged or labeled after coating and packing
Education: High School
Experience: 12 months
