Responsibilities:
Conduct analytical, physical, and sensory evaluations on raw materials and finished almond butter???measuring moisture, particle size, viscosity, and managing microbiological sampling. Lead the charge on environmental swabbing, allergen verifications, sanitation audits, and critical metal-detector/foreign-material inspections. Monitor critical control points ($CCP$) and preventative controls ($PC$) including temperature checks, milling grinds, and equipment calibrations in strict alignment with HACCP and FSMA rules. Own the paper trail by maintaining impeccable digital logs, batch records, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs) to ensure seamless traceability and audit readiness. Swiftly identify production deviations, quarantine affected inventory, and partner with teams to drive root-cause investigations. Act as the quality liaison on the floor, partnering closely with Production, Sanitation, and Maintenance teams to solve real-time issues and continuously elevate our processes.

Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent. Industry Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience inside a food manufacturing facility. Solid foundational knowledge of HACCP, cGMPs, FSMA Preventive Controls, and standard laboratory practices. Confident operating standard laboratory equipment like moisture analyzers, viscometers, scales, and pH meters. Proficient with computers, specifically navigating Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry. Exceptional communication, meticulous documentation skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work comfortably across both a bustling production floor and a laboratory environment with exposure to tree nut allergens

Qualifications:
Hands-on experience working within SQF, BRC, or other Global Food Safety Initiative schemes. Deep familiarity with specialized almond processing, roasting, milling, or nut-butter production. Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly valued and will help you excel with our diverse team.
