The Quality Control Technician is an essential position responsible for ensuring that all manufactured products, materials, and processes meet strict internal, regulatory, and customer-specified quality standards. Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive inspections, including visual and dimensional checks, on incoming materials, in-process components, and final packaged products. Inspection may be required in the manufacturing area or a controlled environment.
Accurately read, analyze, and interpret complex engineering blueprint drawings and detailed customer specifications to determine product conformance.
Utilize and maintain various precision measurement equipment and handheld gauges to accurately perform required inspections and collect measurement data.
Document, scan, and control quality records, including material certifications, process certifications, and inspection results, ensuring complete traceability.
Conduct thorough Product Audits on final packaged goods and associated documentation prior to shipment.
Identify and formally document non-conforming materials and products by accurately writing Non-Conformance Reports.
Manage the internal calibration program for inspection tools and measurement devices.
Generate detailed inspection reports, including First Article Inspection Reports , in accordance with customer or internal requirements.
Provide active support for various Quality Assurance functions, including the Material Review Board, root cause analysis for returned goods, customer audits, product qualifications, and the writing and maintenance of quality procedures.
Interface directly with external representatives by contacting and working with customer source inspectors and accessing customer quality portals.
Review all manufacturing and vendor documentation, such as production paperwork, technical drawings, Certificates of Conformance and material test reports, for accuracy and completeness.
Perform materials testing in a lab setting to verify the mechanical and physical properties of raw materials.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times by adhering to safety regulations and 5S principles.

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years previous work experience in a Quality Control or Production role
Minimum of 2 years previous work experience in a regulated industry Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device
Must demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprint drawings and customer specifications
