Responsibilities:
Perform & Inspect: Conduct routine and specialized testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods at various production stages.
Calibrate & Maintain: Oversee laboratory testing equipment to ensure accurate results and compliance with safety regulations.
Document & Analyze: Maintain organized, up-to-date records of test results, report discrepancies, and assist in root cause analysis for non-conforming products.
Collaborate & Support: Partner with production staff and the Quality Assurance team to resolve quality issues and support process improvement initiatives.
Physical Management: Safely handle, switch out, and maneuver heavy TULZ tanks for dipping parts on the production floor.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Manufacturing Experience: Prior experience in quality control or lab testing within a manufacturing environment.
Software Expertise: Experience utilizing specialized quality management software.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Capability: capability to lift, handle, and switch out heavy dipping tanks.
Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment, data entry, and testing methodologies.
Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting abilities, and excellent organizational skills.
Flexibility: Ability to work independently or as a team, travel to Michigan for a one-month training period, and work weekends as needed.
