The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring all aerospace products and assemblies meet strict engineering drawings, specifications, and customer purchase order requirements. This role involves both dimensional and visual inspections within a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Inspection: Perform detailed dimensional and visual inspections of machined parts and assemblies using work instructions and engineering blueprints.
Precision Measurement: Utilize a variety of instruments including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and height gages.
Technical Layout: Perform complex surface plate set-ups and scribe layouts to verify part accuracy.
Compliance: Ensure all products adhere to internal quality system processes and customer-specific requirements.
Process Improvement: Read and interpret shop planning to suggest improvements for product flow and continuous improvement initiatives.
Safety & Waste Management: Safely handle and manage hazardous waste generated within the work area according to established protocols.
Working hours: 4:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace quality assurance or aerospace manufacturing.
Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex blueprint callouts and internal/customer specifications.
Technical Knowledge: A thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Mathematical Proficiency: Strong shop math skills, including the ability to work with decimals, common fractions, and whole numbers.
Communication: Ability to present technical information clearly to supervisors and peers.
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
