Job Description:
Weigh, measure, and check materials, supplies, and equipment for the purpose of keeping relevant records.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect stamped aerosol caps for dimensional accuracy and cosmetic defects.
- Perform first-piece inspections and in-process checks.
- Document inspection results and communicate non-conformances.
- Use precision measuring tools and maintain calibration records.
- Support root cause analysis for defects.
- Accuracy of inspections.
- Timeliness of reporting.
- Compliance with sampling plans.
Education: No formal education required.
Experience: 6 months
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Experience with metal stamping or similar manufacturing.
- Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T.
- Proficient with micrometers, calipers, gauges.
Physical:
- High noise, PPE required, fast-paced production floor.
