Responsibilities:
Validate Compliance: Review work orders to confirm all operations are complete and inspect parts against complex technical drawings.
Uphold Standards: Approve only the components that meet 100% of the documented requirements to prevent external defects.
Manage Quality Documentation: Identify nonconforming materials by writing NCRs and creating SCARs/CARs as needed.
Drive Improvement: Help determine the root cause of errors and verify that corrective actions are successfully implemented.
Precision Measurement: Utilize and track the calibration of specialized inspection tools to ensure total accuracy.
System Support: Maintain accurate inspection logs and records to keep the Quality Management System (QMS) running smoothly.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Previous experience within a precision metal manufacturing or machining environment.
Familiarity with formal Quality Management Systems and CAPA reporting.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
2+ years of professional inspection experience in a manufacturing setting.
Proven ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
Strong analytical skills to track and document nonconforming materials.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work effectively in a busy shop environment.
