Schedule: Weekend Nights - 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Thursday-Sunday one week, Friday-Sunday the next week)
Pay: $17/hr-$18/hr
Location: Near Hard Rock Casino
Responsibilities:
Set up the rewind/turret machine for each job, including installing blades, loading cores, and aligning materials according to job tickets.
Operate the machine to break down large press rolls into smaller finished rolls based on length, copy position, and core size requirements.
Inspect rolls and labels throughout production to maintain consistent quality and catch any defects early.
Perform roll splices when needed and verify product and core ID numbers for accuracy.
Label and package finished rolls correctly, ensuring core and box IDs match and products are placed in the correct area for shipping or inventory.
Communicate with supervisors or schedulers regarding any issues such as material quality, label errors, or quantity discrepancies.
Keep the work area and equipment clean, organized, and compliant with all safety procedures.
Perform other finishing tasks as needed to meet production goals.
Working hours: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year of machine operation experience (printing, packaging, or manufacturing background preferred).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Good communication and organization skills.
Ability to recognize and report quality issues quickly.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent output.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Standing, bending, and repetitive motion are required throughout the shift.
