Spherion is partnering with a premier manufacturing leader in Mayville, WI to find skilled Robotic Welders. Reporting to the Robotic Welding Manager, this role is primarily responsible for operating one or more weld machines to fabricate high-quality metal parts and assemblies.

What You'll Do
As a Robotic Welder, you will manage the full lifecycle of the robotic welding process, from programming to finishing.
- Perform all robotic welder functions, including programming, touch point adjustments, and operations corrections.
- Calculate and set controls for wire feed speed, amperage, polarity, and gas types; secure workpieces manually or via hoist.
- Perform basic MIG and TIG welding techniques as needed, welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Remove slag, spatter, and rough spots using grinders, hand files, or power chippers.
- Inspect and measure workpieces against blueprints and quality control plans using gauges and precision instruments.
- Maintain accurate part counts and ensure all containers are properly labeled with customer and shop order information.
What You'll Need
- Previous knowledge of fixtures and weld setup parameters; successful completion of an internal welding test is required.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret complex documents, including blueprints and welding symbols.
- Competency in basic shop math and dimensional measuring using precision tools.
- Strong detail orientation, self-motivation, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
