Job Description:

Ever wonder how those perfectly wound rolls of labels make it onto store shelves? That’s where you come in! We’re looking for a Label Rewind Operator (or as we like to call it, our Count-and-Roll Specialist) to take our production from "big bulk" to "shelf-ready."

If you have a sharp eye for detail and love the satisfaction of a perfectly wound roll, this is the spot for you.

Responsibilities:

• Take customer orders assigned and read each order thoroughly
• Set up machine according to the specifications of the order
• Measure label sizes to set up counter settings and core sizes appropriately
• Run a quality check of each job prior to running a full job. Obtain assistance or approval
• as needed prior to running the full job
• Process the full run of labels according to the customer’s specifications
• Print address label and core labels
• Determine packaging size and quantity if not already provided in the job information
• Package product according to requirements
• Process the inventory according to procedure; larger jobs may need to be placed on
• skids.
• Complete daily job to job press sheet to track each job

Education: No formal education required.

Experience:

• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to stay on task and focus on the task at hand
• Self-starter and able to work independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to learn and assist with other tasks
• Work at a fast pace and be able to multitask working on multiple jobs at once
• Problem solving and troubleshooting

Physical:

• Standing and walking constantly
• Lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times a day
• Moderate noise level

Skills:

• Printing experience a plus
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read a ruller
• Basic computer skills
