Job Description:
We are looking for a hardworking Truss Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will build wooden or metal trusses using your hands, tools, and big machines. You will read instructions and use a tape measure to make sure every piece is cut and put together perfectly. You will also help move materials, pack up finished goods, and keep the workspace clean.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret tape measurements accurately to ensure precise cuts and proper assembly of materials.
- Support general labor duties such as moving materials, staging components, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and use tools and equipment properly to maintain a safe work environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and layout sheets to assemble components accurately.
- Safely use hand and power tools, including nail guns, saws, hammers, and heavy presses.
- Verify all angles, measurements, and connector plates meet exact engineering specifications and structural codes.
- Move, stack, and load lumber and finished trusses using forklifts or manual lifting.
- Maintain a clean work zone and adhere to all OSHA standards and company safety rules
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 12 months
- Experience in hands-on construction and truss framing.
- Expertise in spacing, bracing, and securing manufactured components.
- Familiarity with timber framing, wall panels, and structural alignment.
- Safety-first mindset.
- Strong teamwork skills and a dedication to quality craftsmanship.
