Job Description:
Provide basic GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) training prior to assignment
Workers must:
Be able to perform physical cleaning tasks for extended periods.
Operate basic experience cleaning tools (mop, brush).
Responsibilities:
- Clean and Sanitize Floors: Wash, scrub, and disinfect factory floors every day, especially in busy areas where food is made.
- Use Cleaning Tools: Run industrial cleaning machines like walk-behind floor scrubbers and floor steamers. You will also use traditional tools like mops and hand-scrub brushes for tight spots.
- Use Chemicals Safely: Mix and use floor cleaners and soaps exactly the way the safety rules say to.
- Keep People Safe: Make sure floors are not slippery. You will put up "Wet Floor" signs and quickly clean up any spilled water or food ingredients to prevent slips and falls.
- Take Care of Your Tools: Clean out your floor scrubber tanks at the end of the day, wash the scrubbing pads, and plug the machines in so they are charged for the next shift.
