Spherion VT is seeking a motivated individual to join our client's finance team as a Senior Staff Accountant, where you'll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting reporting and budget processes, and leading payroll operations. Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare investment schedules, maintain fixed asset schedules, and support budgeting
- Supervise payroll and accounts payable operations
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements
- Support external audits and provide financial insights to leadership
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Prior experience working within a health care or nonprofit environment
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
- Bachelor???s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience
- Valid driver's license
