Responsibilities:
Quality Compliance & Documentation: Manage APQP, PPAP, and First Article Inspection (FAI) processes; review customer POs for quality requirements.
Customer & Supplier Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer inquiries, supplier quality, and RMA/RTV processing.
Root-Cause Analysis: Lead internal and customer-facing problem-solving teams using standard techniques (8D, 5-Why, PRR).
System Maintenance: Maintain the Material Review Board (MRB) cage and logbook, conduct regular audits, and ensure alignment with AS9100 and ISO/TS frameworks.
Continuous Improvement: Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC), participate in Lean manufacturing projects, and drive scrap-reduction initiatives.
Training & Mentorship: Onboard and train Quality Engineers and Technicians on ERP systems and corrective action processes.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Experience with custom precision metal fabrication, welding, and machining processes.
Background working in regulated aerospace, defense, or automotive manufacturing environments.
Active involvement or certification through professional quality organizations (e.g., ASQ).

Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Bachelor???s degree in a technical field with 3+ years of quality assurance experience, OR 7+ years of experience in a technical quality assurance role.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of AS9100 or ISO/TS-16949 standards.
Core Skills: Proficiency in AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans), GD&T, and Gage R&R.
Problem Solving: Proven expertise using formal problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5-Why, 7-Step).
Software: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems.
