Responsibilities:
Depending on which role fits your background best, your daily tasks will include a mix of the following duties:
Computer & Shipping Software (Senior & Clerk Roles): Using computers and online shipping software to accurately enter tracking information, addresses, and order details.
Shipping & Logistics: Verifying shipping manifests, checking documentation, and auditing outgoing orders to ensure 100% accuracy.
International Shipping Knowledge (Senior Role Only): Must have prior experience or a strong comfort level handling international shipping procedures, including customs paperwork, international carrier guidelines, and overseas tracking.
Fast-Paced Operations: Working hard with the crew to meet daily shipping deadlines while keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
Reliability: Showing up ready to work your full shift every day and communicating clearly with team leads.
Equipment Operation (Operator Roles): Safely and efficiently operating stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers (cherry pickers), and electric pallet jacks to move, stack, pull, and stage inventory.
Quality Control & Auditing (QC Roles): Inspecting incoming and outgoing freight for damage, checking order accuracy against pick tickets, and catching counting errors before items leave the building.
Packing & Picking: Accurately picking inventory from the shelves and securely packing orders to prepare them for safe transit.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Quality Control (QC): Experience inspecting incoming or outgoing freight to catch damages and counting mistakes before they leave the building.
Specific Shipping Software: Prior use of standard carrier programs like UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, or other warehouse management systems (WMS).
Cross-Training: Experience working in multiple departments (e.g., doing both equipment operation and shipping computer work).
