We are seeking a dedicated Service and Test Engineer to join a leading team in leak testing automation. In this role, you will be the bridge between internal engineering and the client site. You will oversee machine assembly and programming in the shop, disassemble the machinery for transit, and then follow it to the customer's site to reinstall, program, and successfully launch it into production. Position Overview
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Compensation: $27.00 - $37.00 / hour (Depending on experience)

Travel: Nationwide and international travel required (estimated between 10 to 22 weeks per year). Note: Techs are home every weekend.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly & Programming: Program, troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and repair advanced production equipment.
- Design Collaboration: Participate in the machine design and specification process; propose design revisions or improvements based directly on customer needs.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct machine run-off activities, perform gage (machine) R&R studies, and write clear technical reports and manuals.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients during installations and service visits.
- R&D Support: Perform technical research and development studies, including developing leak rate specifications, processes, and tooling.
- Field Installation: Follow machinery shipped via semi-trucks to client facilities to handle on-site installation, programming, and production-ready optimization.
Skills:
- A two or four-year engineering or mechatronics degree is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Education: A two- or four-year degree in engineering, mechatronics, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Technical Aptitude: Core competencies in mathematics, programming, technical writing, and customer relations. A solid foundation in physics and chemistry is a distinct advantage.
- Travel Readiness: Must possess a valid passport and an unrestricted driver's license, or have the ability to obtain both immediately.
