Working hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Set up, operate, and monitor shear and punch machines to cut and shape sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and specifications,Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and maintain precision standards,Perform routine inspections of tooling and machinery, replacing worn parts or tooling as needed to prevent downtime,Read blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure accurate fabrication processes,Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, micrometer gauges, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions, Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols involving forklifts, cranes, hand tools, and electrical discharge machining equipment

1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating sheet metal shear and punch machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment - Aluminum and Steel, 18 to 12 gauge.
Mechanical aptitude.,Blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings with GD&T standards, Hands-on experience with tooling setup, tape measure and protractors. Ability to utilize hand tools safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of precision and safety compliance,Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances and material dimensions,Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures involving forklifts, cranes, tool handling, and machine operation,Forklift experience - Load and unload flat material
