Job Description:
The Shipping Clerk is a critical member of the warehouse team as they are responsible for outgoing
shipments and packaging materials for finished goods.
Responsibilities:
- Ship product and material out using the ERP system
- Use FedEx and UPS apps for domestic and/or international shipments
- Package outgoing shipments to customers
- Maintain detailed records of outgoing shipments
- Coordinate outgoing shipments to customer schedules
- Ship materials in accordance with customer specific work instructions
- Assure all required paperwork is with shipment and produce required labels
- Generate accurate, complete and clear paperwork for all outgoing materials
- Maintain part/customer special instructions in ERP system
- Provide excellent customer service to internal customers
Education: No formal education required.
Experience: 6 months
Physical:
- Must be able to move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform extensive standing, walking, climbing and lifting great than 50% of the day
- Regularly required to reach, bend, grab, stoop and twist
- Must have excellent eyesight and hearing (cannot be color blind)
- Employees must wear safety glasses ,ESD smocks, ESD straps at all times
