Spherion MA is seeking a Shipping Lead to oversee daily workflow and lead our Warehouse team to success. This role bridges the gap between hands-on Shipping tasks and administrative oversight in a high-volume Manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot Inventory discrepancies, manage Computer workflows for UPS and FedEx, and ensure the Warehouse operates at peak efficiency.

Responsibilities:
Oversee daily Shipping operations and coordinate the Warehouse workflow.
Assign tasks to clerks and ensure Manufacturing orders are processed for UPS and FedEx on schedule.
Troubleshoot Inventory issues and resolve shipping discrepancies using the warehouse Computer system.
Train new team members on Warehouse safety, Shipping protocols, and UPS/FedEx software.
Communicate with the Inventory and customer service departments regarding Manufacturing delays or order status.
Working hours: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Skills:
Experience training or mentoring warehouse team members
Familiarity with manufacturing order processing workflows
Experience working closely with inventory or customer service departments
Good communication skills for cross-department coordination
Experience improving or streamlining warehouse efficiency or workflow processes
Basic understanding of logistics coordination and shipping optimization
Certifications related to warehouse safety or logistics (OSHA, etc.)
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
2+ years of Warehouse or Shipping experience
Prior leadership experience in a warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing environment
Proficiency with shipping software (UPS, FedEx systems, or similar platforms)
Experience with inventory management systems using computers
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay physically active throughout shifts
Knowledge of UPS and FedEx shipping processes and requirements
Ability to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and shipping issues
Comfortable working in a high-volume manufacturing/warehouse environment
