We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shipping/Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. Responsibilities:
Shipping: Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments accurately according to customer orders (flooring materials, tools, accessories). Coordinate with freight carriers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Receiving: Unload incoming freight, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and inspect materials for damages or discrepancies. Document and report any damaged or shorted goods immediately.
Inventory Management: Efficiently and safely store received items in designated locations. Assist in periodic and annual inventory counts and help maintain organized stock levels.
Safety & Compliance: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification required). Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including bills of lading, packing slips, and receiving logs, accurately and legibly. Utilize warehouse management software (WMS) for data entry.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or inventory tracking software.
Knowledge of freight logistics and carrier documentation (BOLs).
Experience handling large or irregular materials, such as flooring rolls or long planks.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dedicated shipping, receiving, or general warehouse role.
Proven ability to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack (current certification preferred).
Basic math skills and attention to detail for verifying counts and tracking inventory.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
