We are seeking a highly skilled SMD Hand Solderer to perform precision assembly and manual micro-soldering of miniature electronic components onto high-reliability Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
This role requires exceptional fine motor skills, precision hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work comfortably under a microscope for extended periods. You will be working on complex, mission-critical electronic assemblies where precision and quality are paramount.

Responsibilities:
Perform high-precision, fine-pitch manual soldering for Surface Mount Devices (SMD) and through-hole components under a stereo microscope.
Read, interpret, and work efficiently from complex schematics, assembly blueprints, engineering drawings, and wiring diagrams.
Work proficiently with both leaded and lead-free (RoHS) soldering materials and processes.
Perform complex assembly, cable routing, wiring, and crimping, often in tight spaces with limited physical access.
Execute long work cycles on intricate sub-assemblies and complete production builds.
Perform minor rework, touch-ups, and basic troubleshooting on production items as needed.
Review and verify shop packets, travelers, and bill of materials (BOMs) for accuracy; sign off on documentation upon process completion.
Exercise good judgment in planning work sequences while adhering strictly to established quality and procedural guidelines.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, and a team-first mindset with a continuous improvement focus.

4-7 years
Qualifications:
Certifications: J-STD-001 certification required (Class 2 accepted; Class 3 strongly preferred). Opportunity for Class 3 re-certification provided upon hire.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on electronics soldering and precision manufacturing experience.
Technical Skills: Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly schematics.
Motor Skills: Superior hand-eye coordination, fine dexterity, and the ability to work steadily under microscope magnification.
Process Knowledge: Strong familiarity with both leaded and lead-free (RoHS) soldering techniques and ESD safety protocols.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
