Creating manufacturing solutions and investigating the costs of the equipment needed to build brand-new products.
Writing specs and coordinating the design, build, and qualification of custom machines for laser welding, marking, assembly, and inspection.
Constantly evaluating custom machines to make them faster, more efficient, and higher quality.
Working closely with the Program Manager and quality teams to make sure your technical solutions hit the customer's timeline and budget.
Staying on the cutting edge of manufacturing tech to ensure you are using the most effective solutions available.
Keeping management and customers in the loop with project updates and technical report-outs.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (BSME, BSMT, or MET preferred)
3 to 8 years in manufacturing engineering, specifically with custom-designed laser and assembly welding machines.
You will need to be an expert in Minitab, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Excel.
You must be able to comfortably decipher complex mechanical prints and electrical schematics.
High attention to detail and the ability to pivot quickly when project priorities shift.
