We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Finance Manager to join our collaborative and integrity-driven team in Lexington, South Carolina. This is an onsite, full-time contract role (6 months to 1 year) vital to driving business results, financial planning, and analysis.

The Contract Finance Manager will play a key role in the Finance department, helping to manage financial operations and staff. You will be required to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with required presence during the crucial month-end close process.

Contract Length: 6 months - 1 year.
Training: Comprehensive training will be provided by the current Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
Driving business results through planning & forecasting and financial reporting & analysis.
Heavy involvement in the month-end process, including completing required monthly and quarterly flux analysis.
Managing an Accounting Clerk II (ACII) and an Accounting Clerk.
Overseeing workflow through Workday and filtering team questions.
Assisting with or preparing/reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations.
Maintaining the general ledger system.
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Coordinating the budget process.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience in the Distribution or Corporate Finance industries (no banking experience).

1-4 years
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related finance/accounting experience, including some management/supervisory responsibility. Entry-level candidates will not be considered.
Technical Skills:
- Thorough Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
- Proficiency in SOX knowledge.
- Proficient in Excel.
Soft Skills:
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to cross-collaborate.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Ability to prioritize in a multi-tasked environment is KEY.
-Demonstrated ability in prioritization/time management.
-Strong financial acumen.
