We are seeking a precision-oriented Stainless Steel Polisher / Electropolisher to join a premier fabrication team in South Beloit. This role is critical to the pharmaceutical supply chain, requiring the ability to transform raw stainless components into high-grade, defect-free finished products. You will work in a high-standards environment where quality, consistency, and a "keen eye" for surface perfection are the top priorities.

What You'll Do
- Perform expert-level grinding, polishing, and buffing on stainless steel parts, specifically focusing on complex radii, contours, and deep recesses.
- Utilize hand and pneumatic tools to achieve specific pharmaceutical and food-grade surface requirements.
- Independently select the correct abrasives, methods, and dressing tools based on the unique geometry of each component.
- Execute electropolishing and electroplating tasks to chemically improve surface quality and meet customer specifications.
- Visually and physically inspect all finished pieces for defects, ensuring 100% consistency and adherence to technical drawings.
What You'll Bring
- Extensive hands-on experience in grinding and polishing stainless steel to sanitary or medical-grade standards.
- Prior experience with electroplating or electropolishing processes is highly preferred.
- The ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and finishing specifications.
- An expert ability to identify even the smallest surface inconsistencies and the dedication to correct them.
- Ability to lift and move components weighing up to 50 lbs and work comfortably with pneumatic hand tools.
