Work Environment: This is a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will work around mechanical, electrical, and pressurized equipment in environments that may be wet, humid, or loud.
Allergen Note: This facility involves frequent exposure to nuts and other potential allergens.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Maintenance Technicians to ensure the facility runs safely and efficiently. This role focuses on coordinating daily repairs, managing preventative maintenance (PM) schedules, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate daily activities for Maintenance Technicians based on production needs. Develop work schedules and skill-building plans to optimize team performance.
Operational Excellence: Review work orders and prioritize tasks based on production schedules and parts availability. Respond quickly to production requests to minimize downtime.
Preventative Maintenance: Develop, distribute, and continuously re-evaluate PM schedules to ensure equipment longevity and efficiency.
Financial Accountability: Review requisitions and manage the maintenance budget to ensure cost-effective spending.
Safety & Quality: Lead weekly safety meetings and ensure 100% compliance with all regulatory and plant safety guidelines. Maintain strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Collaboration: Work with the wider maintenance network to coordinate problem-solving and plant-wide improvements. Participate in weekend coverage rotations as needed.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
Technical Specialization: Knowledge of automatic controls and automated systems.
Project Management: Formal experience managing capital projects or equipment installs.
Continuous Improvement: Experience with benchmarking and learning-based travel to other operations centers to improve local processes.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Knowledge: Proven experience with Utilities, Facilities, and Production equipment.
Systems: Proficiency with PC applications and experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or work order software.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a maintenance team in a fast-paced environment.
Operational Skills: Strong experience in planning, scheduling, and budget management.
Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and complex problem-solving skills.
Adaptability: Ability to adjust priorities quickly to meet changing production demands.
