Our client in Harahan is seeking a Storage Warehouse Associate for a fast-paced, highly physical warehouse environment. This role is essential for the management of sensitive data and involves processing orders by moving boxes of files, books, binders, and backup tapes.

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Includes 30-min lunch & two 15-min breaks)
Duration: 3-Month Temporary Assignment
Note: This is a strictly temporary 3-month assignment. Due to the sensitive nature of the materials, all candidates must be highly reliable and pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities:
Manual Labor: Frequently lift, carry, and move boxes weighing between 24 lbs and 100 lbs without assistance.
Logistics: Load and unload trucks; operate hand trucks and pallet jacks over concrete and uneven surfaces.
Order Processing: Use proprietary computer systems and handheld scanners to track orders and locate inventory.
Palletization: Manually load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Skills:
Reliability: Proven track record of dependability and punctual attendance.
Safety Gear: Must have (Safety Toe) with a "Better or Best" slip-resistant rating.
Communication: Must be able to read and write English fluently to process labels and orders.
Background: Ability to pass a rigorous background check and drug screen.

Climb and balance on ladders.
