Departmental Leadership: Oversee the daily execution of the Swiss Engineering department, including the assignment of Setup Requests and Engineering Requests (ERs).Operational Integration: Lead daily synchronization with production teams to ensure engineering support meets high-volume manufacturing demands.Administrative Oversight: Review and approve labor edits, manage departmental purchase requests, and oversee annual performance reviews and succession planning.Quality & Problem Solving: Serve as a direct resource for Operations and Quality teams to resolve real-time challenges, including scrap reduction and process optimization.Continuous Improvement: Proactively evaluate and implement new CAM software and Swiss machining equipment to maintain technical superiority.Talent Development: Mentor and train engineering staff to foster technical competence and department growth.
