Spherion Staffing Fargo is looking to fill a temporary Accounts Payable Analyst role. The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for processing check requests, vendor invoices, and credits. They will set up new vendors and do maintenance on existing vendors, assist on account reconciliations, audits, and tax reporting research.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5 PM
Pay $25/hour
Assignment length: through end of 2026
Responsibilities:
-Enter accurate information in payables system(s), makes invoice adjustments for sales tax, reviews account coding, applies vendor credits and ensures appropriate approvals
-Banking responsibilities including researching check status, prints & mails paper checks, cancelling and/or stops payments on checks, prints checks
-Prepare general ledger journal entries
-Respond to internal and external customers regarding disbursements and payment status
-Contact vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and provides payment history to customers
-Other duties as assigned

Associate

Qualifications:
-Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
-2 years of experience in accounting or related field
