Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to the Associate VP of Human Resources such as staffing, onboarding, orientation; employee relations; performance management, onboarding and offboarding; and review of policies/procedures.
- Consults with the Associate Vice President of Human Resources on issues and problems.
- Responds to requests for information and human resources-related inquiries.
- Provides and submits reports on general HR activity within a timely manner.
- Assist and support in Employee Relations matters.
- Responsible for maintaining employee files and records electronically.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
- Assists with developing and updating job descriptions.
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
- Masters Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- HR certification (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP).
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of Human Resources Specialist experience.
- Functional and technical experience with HRIS, ATS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities, meet deadlines, and perform independently in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Ability to work fully on site as this position does not provide the ability to work hybrid / remote
