Responsibilities:
Precision Manufacturing: Manage the precision coining process from initial setup through to final inspection.
Grinding & Milling: Set up and operate surface grinders for coin punches and precision components while maintaining incredibly tight tolerances.
CNC Operation: Handle setups, tool changes, and touch-offs on high-speed vertical CNC mills, specifically Brothers/Robodrill machines.
Quality Inspection: Perform independent in-process and final inspections using micrometers, indicators, and comparators to ensure quality ownership.
Precision Finishing: Polish parts to meet both cosmetic and functional specifications without compromising critical sharp edges.
Team Collaboration: Partner with Engineering and Quality teams to troubleshoot issues and improve Lean/5S standards.
Working hours: 5:15 AM - 5:30 PM
Skills:
Equipment Familiarity: Comfort and experience with Brothers CNC mills or similar high-speed equipment.
Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Operational Mindset: A strong commitment to craftsmanship and a "do it right the first time" approach.

Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Tool Maker or Precision Machinist.
Technical Proficiency: Strong, required experience with surface grinders.
Precision Standards: Proven ability to consistently hold tight tolerances, such as $\pm 0.0001$.
Tooling Literacy: Proficiency in reading prints, using precision gauges/comparators, and handling light polishing.
