Position Type: Direct Hire (Full-Time)
Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000 per year

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting RF transmission equipment across multiple broadcast stations. You will run routine maintenance and emergency repairs on solid-state transmitters, monitor technical operations for FCC compliance, and resolve signal path issues across audio chains, STL links, and antenna systems. Working alongside production and operations teams, you will keep downtime minimal, assist with equipment upgrades, and participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours emergency technical support when needed.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
-Hands-on technical experience operating and maintaining Gates and Nautel solid-state transmitters
-Experience with IP-based audio transport and AoIP broadcast systems
-Familiarity with studio-to-transmitter links (STL), microwave communication paths, and satellite delivery systems
-Working background with standard IT networking hardware, including routers, network switches, and remote access tools
-Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) certification (such as CBRE or CBNT)

Qualifications:
-Associate or bachelor???s degree in electronics, broadcast engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
-Proven hands-on experience with RF transmission systems in a broadcast environment (radio or television)
-Working knowledge of analog and HD radio broadcast systems
-Strong understanding of FCC rules and technical broadcast compliance standards
-Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical schematics, system manuals, and architectural diagrams
-Valid driver???s license with the ability to travel locally to multiple transmitter sites
-Physical ability to work in both technical facilities and outdoor transmitter locations, including lifting equipment up to 50 pounds
